Supervise novices or juniors
If you are a competent climber, but want to bring an under 18 or novice climber, then this page is for you.
A competent adult must understand the risks involved in bouldering and how to keep a child/ young person safe at the wall. This will be an experienced climber or an adult who has done an induction class with us. Just being an adult or a parent is not enough to enable you to supervise children/ young people at Climb Newcastle.
Supervision Ratios
Please note our supervision ratios and minimum ages:
At The Pool:
A competent adult climber can supervise two novices or young climbers age 3 or above.
At The Valley:
A competent adult climber can supervise one novice or young climber age 7 or above.
