Coronavirus update
Thank you everyone for your patience and cooperation with our Covid-19 measures. Now that we have settled in to new procedures, we have a number of changes planned, to incrementally bring back parts of our service.
- From 31st August: we are relaxing our capacity restrictions slightly. Our capacity limits were based on a very cautious approach, including assumptions, for example, that all customers at The Valley are upstairs. We have been aware since opening that our capacity is significantly smaller in relative terms then most other climbing walls, so we've been keeping this under review and looking closely at the footfall in the various areas of the centres. We're pleased to be relaxing capacity limits slightly to 25 at The Pool and 70 at The Valley (up from 20 and 60 respectively). Climbing continues to be in booked slots only. Don't forget that if you want to check how busy we are to find a quiet time, you can use our handy graph which illustrates how many people are expected at the centre:
- From 7th September: we're returning to our normal opening hours: 4pm-9pm weekdays and 9-5pm weekends at The Pool. We will be returning to 7am opening Monday to Thursday at The Valley. To confirm those hours:
Weekdays (from 7th September) Weekends The Pool 4pm - 9pm 9am - 5pm The Valley 7am - 10pm 9am - 8pm - From 7th September: We're also turning our coffee machine back on, and will be serving in disposable takeaway cups for the moment.
Many other changes are on the horizon and we'll keep you posted with details as soon as we're ready to announce them.
